Gladly is a customer service platform.

Depending on your use case, you might need to install Data Movement gateway to move data from SaaS applications. For more information, see Quando è richiesto il Data Movement gateway?.

Preparing for authentication

To access your data, you need to authenticate the connection with your account credentials.

Assicurarsi che l'account utilizzata disponga di accesso di lettura per le tabelle che si desidera recuperare.

To give a user the permission to access an API:

In Gladly, click the menu in the left top corner and navigate to Settings>Users.
Search and select the user who needs the access. A permission named API User is created.
Select the permission and do not change the Agent role of the user.
Click Save.

To generate an API token:

In Gladly, go to More settings.
If you do not see this menu, request the access to the API. See the procedure above.
Click API Tokens and Create Token in the top-right corner.
Copy the API token.

You can find your Help Center ID in Gladly:

Navigate to Settings>Help Center.
Click the three dots next to Help Center.
Select Configure.
Copy the Help Center ID from the URL.

Creating the connection

Inserire le proprietà di connessione richieste.
Fornire un nome per la connessione in Nome connessione.
Selezionare Apri metadati di connessione per definire i metadati della connessione al momento della creazione.
Fare clic su Crea.

Data gateway	Selezionare un Data Movement gateway se richiesto dal proprio caso di utilizzo. Se si dispone di un altro livello di sottoscrizione e non si desidera utilizzare il Data Movement gateway, selezionare Nessuno. Organization	The name of your organization in the Gladly domain. Example: In https://example.gladly.com, the organization name is example.
Help Center ID	Help Center ID.
Agent Email	The email of the Gladly user who has access to the API.
API Token	API token.
