Gladly is a customer service platform.

Depending on your use case, you might need to install Data Movement gateway to move data from SaaS applications. For more information, see Wanneer is de Data Movement gateway vereist?.

Preparing for authentication

To access your data, you need to authenticate the connection with your account credentials.

Zorg dat het account dat u gebruikt leestoegang heeft voor de tabellen die u wilt ophalen.

To give a user the permission to access an API:

In Gladly, click the menu in the left top corner and navigate to Settings>Users.
Search and select the user who needs the access. A permission named API User is created.
Select the permission and do not change the Agent role of the user.
Click Save.

To generate an API token:

In Gladly, go to More settings.
If you do not see this menu, request the access to the API. See the procedure above.
Click API Tokens and Create Token in the top-right corner.
Copy the API token.

You can find your Help Center ID in Gladly:

Vul de vereiste verbindingseigenschappen in.
Geef in Verbindingsnaam een naam voor de verbinding op.
Selecteer Metagegevens verbinding openen om metagegevens te definiëren voor de verbinding nadat deze is gemaakt.
Klik op Maken.

Connection settings
Setting	Description
Data gateway	Selecteer een Data Movement gateway als dit is vereist voor uw usecase. Informatie Dit veld is niet beschikbaar met het Qlik Talend Cloud Starter-abonnement, omdat het geen ondersteuning biedt voor Data Movement gateway. Als u een ander abonnementsniveau hebt en Data Movement gateway niet wilt gebruiken, selecteer dan Geen. Organization	The name of your organization in the Gladly domain. Example: In https://example.gladly.com, the organization name is example.
Help Center ID	Help Center ID.
Agent Email	The email of the Gladly user who has access to the API.
API Token	API token.
