Qlik Sense performs the following procedure:
Check if the app is already open.
If not, load the QVF file.
Read the app properties from the file.
Read the script from the file.
Open the app.
Success
In case of success, log entries are written in the following files throughout the procedure:

Probable cause of error: The app has been deleted from disk. Try to import the app again.
