Managing users - User-based subscriptions
Qlik Cloud provides several ways to organize the users that you add to the tenant. The available user types and how you manage users depend on your subscription. With the user-based Qlik Cloud Analytics subscriptions, the users are assigned Analyzer or Professional user entitlement.
Once you add users to the tenant, you can sort them into groups based on whether they will be app consumers or whether they will need to create content in the tenant. You do this by assigning Analyzer of Professional user entitlements. You can also assign security rules to users to grant specific permissions in the tenant.
The diagram below shows the steps of adding users to the tenant and organizing them into roles. After adding users to the tenant, there is no specific order you must follow, and you can change user entitlements and roles any time.
