Resetting your Qlik Account password

If you need to update or recover your Qlik Account password, follow the steps below.

Information noteThese instructions apply Qlik Account passwords managed by Qlik. If you use an external identity provider, follow their password reset process.

Changing your password

If you know your current password and simply want to update it, you can change it from your profile settings in My Qlik:

Do the following:

  1. Access your Qlik Account profile settings:
    1. Log in to My Qlik.

    2. Click on your user profile icon.
    3. Select Profile settings.
  2. Select Password & security.

  3. Under Password, click Reset password.

  4. When prompted, click Reset password to confirm.

  5. Check your email for a message from no.reply@qlik.com.

  6. Click the Reset Password link in the email.

  7. Follow the instructions on screen to set a new password.

You can now log in with your updated credentials.

Recovering a forgotten password

If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it via one of the Qlik portals.

Do the following:

  1. Visit Qlik.com.

  2. Click Login on the top menu and select the portal you wish to access.

  3. On the login page, click I forgot my password.

  4. Enter your email address and click Send email.

  5. Check your email for a message from no.reply@qlik.com.

  6. Click the Reset Password link in the email.

  7. Follow the instructions on screen to set a new password.

Once completed, you can log in with your new credentials.

Didn't receive a password reset email?

If you haven’t received your password reset email from Qlik, try the following steps:

  1. Check your Spam/Junk folder: Sometimes emails end up here by mistake.

  2. Review your mail server settings: Make sure your Mail-Server Firewall isn’t blocking Qlik emails.

  3. Add Qlik to your safe senders list: Add qlik.com and sendgrid.net to ensure our emails get through.

  4. Request a new reset email: Trigger another password reset request.
