Getting started with Qlik GeoAnalytics for QlikView

To start, make sure Qlik GeoAnalytics is installed in QlikView. Separate installation instructions are available for GeoAnalytics for QlikView Desktop and Server.

After the installation is complete, GeoAnalytics extensions will be available in WebView Mode in QlikView, along with the default tables, pie charts and other QlikView elements. The overall principle for using GeoAnalytics for QlikView is to remember that the map and the various layers are separated into different components.

The map image and the QlikView data will appear in the GeoAnalytics map component, but the Dimensions and Measures are displayed by the layer components. The layers automatically connect with the map, which will display the data contained in the layer. If there are multiple maps on the page, you will need to specify which layers correspond to which map components.
