Enabling and disabling reporting, subscriptions, and sharing features

In-app reporting, subscriptions, and chart sharing are turned on for tenant users by default. A tenant admin can turn each of these features on or off in the Administration activity center.

The toggles are available under Sharing and reports in the Settings section.

Toggling availability of chart sharing

When the chart sharing feature is turned on in the Administration activity center, users can share a chart by right-clicking it and selecting Share. When this feature is turned off, the option is not visible to app users.

  1. In the Administration activity center, open the Settings section and navigate to Sharing and reports.

  2. Toggle Chart sharing via email on or off.

Toggling availability of subscriptions

Users can subscribe to a chart or sheet in a Qlik Sense app, and configure the output to be emailed to one or multiple recipients. You can turn this feature off in the Administration activity center.

  1. In the Administration activity center, open the Settings section and navigate to Sharing and reports.

  2. Toggle Subscriptions - charts and sheets on or off.

Toggling availability of in-app reporting

Control whether users can view and use the Reporting section in the app navigation menu of a Qlik Sense app. If you turn the feature off, reporting assets (tasks, templates, filters, distribution settings) will not be deleted. They simply will not be visible. If the feature is turned back on, the assets are visible and usable again.

  1. In the Administration activity center, open the Settings section and navigate to Sharing and reports.

  2. Toggle In-app reporting on or off.
